Sacral Chakra Healing Bath with Salts

Sacral Chakra Healing Bath with Salts

Below the navel, the svadhisthana chakra radiates the color orange and represents the element water. When the sacral chakra is balanced and open, we feel a healthy flow of energy and a sense of vitality, passion, and creativity. However, when the sacral chakra is blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to physical health, emotional, and spiritual issues.

You can Use Water to Balance Your Sacral Chakra

The sacral chakra is associated with creative flow and physical movement; the fluidity of the water element can help balance a blocked sacral chakra. Spend time in a bath, pool, lake, or ocean. Take a shower and let the water wash over you. Visualize all things no longer needed flowing freely down the drain.

Did you Know?

Cultural Note about Water

Many cultures around the world equate water with healing and energy. All over the world in Greece, Rome, Turkey, India, Ireland, as well as biblical People for centuries have traveled distances to drink or bathe in water from mountains, wells and springs that are said to be imbued with special healing powers or energy. Many Cultures have believed water has the ability to absorb prayers, cleanse unwanted energy and bestow good medicine.

Water is commonly seen as a symbol of purity and wisdom. Its presence and the body’s immersion into salt water  has been scientifically proven to promote healing and release inflammations in the body. This allows the human body to function with its embodied true essence to heal.

We can enjoy these same energetic powers by creating a transformative experience that heals the soul, nourishes the body, and awakens our spirit. This can be done placing meditative intentions in the form of prayer before baths or simply allowing the healing thoughts in the mind like affirmations.

There are several ways you can connect with the water element:

  • Go for a walk on the beach or swim in the ocean. .
  • Drink lots of quality water.
  • Eat an alkaline diet that is rich in fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Relax and take everything with a little inner smile.
  • Give Kidney 1 a massage with the fingers.
  • Journal.

My number one recommendation when clients are suffering for lack of emotional connection to self or emotional regulation is to take long showers or baths with salts, this can be epsom salts or dead sea salts. If you do not have a bath placing salt under the palms of the feet while standing in the shower and rubbing the salt in the palms of the hands.

To use the common recommendation is:

   2. Relax in the tub for 10 – 20 minutes.

 3. Visualize all things no longer needed flowing freely out of the body

 4. Visualize a healing protecting boarder being built around the body

 5. Listen to healing frequencies, music, affirmations during the soak

 6. Upon exiting the bath visualize all things no longer needed flowing freely down the drain.

Additional Notes:

For additional healing and for sensitive or easily irritated skin  finish off with a cool rinse from the shower head while draining the bath.

Most products are safe to use in the bath daily, but a good suggested amount of time using Dead Sea Salt is about three times a week, at a minimum.1

House Clearings

What is a House Clearing?
Put simply, a house clearing is all about pushing out bad energy and finding new ways to bring in good, positive, healing and productive energy.
We have to understand that we live in a world based around energy and its movement. We see physical examples of this all around us. When water is unable to freely move it becomes stagnant.  Saging, I will completely remove and push out the filth leaving a clean flowing environment and enhancing whats already naturally there.
Why do a House Clearing?

House clearings can help motivate to tidy a home and refresh the vibe. This can is especially important after repeated unwanted behavior in the home. For example, arguments, spiritual disturbances, divorce, drug behaviors, addictions etc.
Another reason to do a house clearing is honoring the spirit of the home. Your home is a sacred personal refuge from the stresses and chaos of everyday life and you should treat it as such. A home is where growth and cleansing can take place. It is your safe zone. It’s so important to uphold and enhance the energy in your home.
As you walk throughout the day you pick up energy from around you in your environment and from other people. You want to make sure you have a protective and cleansing layer as you enter back into your home.
How often should I Clear my Home?
Every home should be professionally, religiously and spiritually cleansed once. After that point my personal belief is the owner can spiritual cleanse their home by themselves or upkeep with their environment.
What are the Benefits?
-Better sleep. A better in flow and out flow of energy. Some research has suggested the use of sage contains compounds that could help ease insomnia.
-Classic garden sage (Salvia officinalis) is sometimes burned like white sage. It’s also been used to improve sleep and soothe anxiety.

-The most-used types of sage have antimicrobial properties. This means they keep infectious bacteria, viruses, and fungi at bay.

-White prairie sage (Artemisia ludoviciana) is both antimicrobial and antibacterial, White sage (Salvia apianawhich is used most often is antimicrobial. And both have been shown to repel insects.

-Though scientifically unproven, burning sage is may release negative ions, much like the additional support of salt lamps. Using aids like this, when you are releasing negative ions you are neutralizing positive ions.

-Most Common positive ions are allergens. which include pet dander, environmental pollutions, dust, mold. So neutralizing these will help with the negative effects of exposure to these things. (allergies, coughing sneezing watery eyes etc) However, please note If this is the case, burning sage may be a blessing for those with asthma, allergies, bronchitis, and other respiratory conditions. **But inhaling the smoke during the smudging can aggravate it. Wait until the smoke clears before spending time in the room.

-For healers and laypeople in traditional cultures, burning sage is used to achieve a healing state — or to solve or reflect upon spiritual dilemmas. This has a small amount of scientific basis. Certain types of sage, including salvia sages and white prairie sage , contain thujone. Research of thujone is that it is a very mild psychoactive herb.  It’s actually found in many plants used in cultural spiritual rituals to enhance intuition.

-Tradition suggests that smudging can literally lift one’s spirits to banish negativity. Some research supports this. There was a small case study in 2014 that did document the use of white prarie sage (estafiate) as treating anxiety and depression and other mood disorders *only in certain cultures.

-In addition to dissipating negative energy, improving mood, and strengthening intuition, smudging with sage is also thought to increase one’s focus. Salvia white sage has also been said to enhance cognition and alertness.

Lastly a benefit is purely in ridding the body, objects, and spaces of bad energy can help welcome in newer, fresher, and more positive energies. In a way, this could have an energizing effect and help with fatigue.

Will I Noticeably Feel a Difference?
My belief is it depends on your sensitivities. If you are a person who can feel energy or tension in a room, then yes the shift will be present. Most will feel a subtle difference in the initial feeling of the home with the greater impacts being felt overtime with decreased stress and increased peace in the home. This is what was mentioned above in the benefits and how sage has been found to be psychoactive so generally yes you should at the very least feel calmer.

What will it do for Me, My Family and My Home?
Cleanses will help you feel lighter and more energized. the energy in the home will be better displaced. it can produce increased harmony in the home and improve quality of space. Also read the benefits section above for more.

What do I Gain my Hiring Someone to Cleanse my Home?

When hiring a spiritual intuitive you will be able to have them feel the energy of the home and enhance your space by knowing what sage to use in what location of the home. Its like giving your home a formal spiritual and energetic diagnosis. Which should be done for your benefit to make sure you get the most out of cleansing your space.

When is a Good Time to do a House Clearing?

At any point is fine. If you want to do one before you cleanse or tidy a home that will work. My personal recommendation for when to sage would be during the spring time and the fall after a nice house clean.

What is it Like?

First, walking around the whole home and property, I will assess, feel and get to know the spirit of the home. I will feel for stagnant energy; bad energy, good energy etc. and make a note. I will use my discretion for disclosing any information.
Then going through heavier parts of the home with a sage of the house’s choice.
I will then spray or use an essential oil in parts of the home as necessary.
then move through the home clearing the walls and floors spiritually.
I end the clearing with a prayer, sustaining and purifying the home. The owner is free to join or not join. My recommendation is to be apart of the final prayer of the home, but is not required.
After which we will have a full discussion of the home and I will give suggestions of crystals, plants, oils, arrangements etc

Do I Have to be Home?

You can if you want to be! You are welcome to follow and watch the process. You can also go about your day and I will proceed to cleanse and will contact you when it is over.

What Should I Expect the Day of the Clearing?

You will receive a text of confirmation the day before confirming location and time.
I will arrive on site with all things I need. Be open and ready for sage, I may ask for windows to be open. Children are welcome this is a sacred experience so I would ask for respect and reverence during the process which, but with that children and their natural excitement and questioning is still reverence and does not disturb me or the process. During the process talking and questions are 100% ok.

How Long is this Process?

Depending on the space anywhere from 45 min to 3hrs.
Most common time has been 1hr 30 min.

How do I Prepare Prior to the Clearing?

I would ask that clients prepare the home with any minor cleaning and to also prepare their minds and hearts. Connect with your environment to feel gratitude and love for your home and be ready to welcome my love and heart into your home.

How Do I Get Started?

Contact me via this form! an email will be sent an I will contact you shortly to schedule a day and time and will give you a price estimation! Looking forward to meeting you and your lovely home to help get you started on a fresher clearing lighter you!

So, What Exactly Are Chakras?

Chakras are the seven energy centers inside our bodies, located up and down the spine. Imagine a rope connecting the top of your tailbone to the crown of your head in a perfectly straight line. This is where the seven chakras reside and emit their energy. People are made up of both body and spirit. One way our spirit expresses itself is through our chakras. Think of chakras as seven different lights and ourselves as beings of light. Just how you see a spectrum of colors when you put light through a prism, we have a spectrum of light radiating from our bodies.

Why are balanced chakras important?
Balanced chakras are essential for our wellbeing and maximum potential. When our chakras are open and working properly, energy flows freely throughout our bodies, and we feel that all of our needs are cared for. We reach our fullest capability when our chakras are open to the correct amount.

How do they become imbalanced?
When you become ill, have an injury, feel stressed, or face a difficult challenge, your chakras can become imbalanced. Some may become under-active while others may close off completely. In both cases, energy is blocked and other chakras are forced to work harder, making them over-active. This disrupts the entire alignment of energy between the chakras.

What are the benefits of the seven chakras?
The first three of these chakras are chakras of matter, meaning they have more physical functions and benefits.

1. The Root Chakra – located at the base of the spine where it meets the tailbone. When this chakra is open, we feel grounded, stable, and safe.

2. The Sacral Chakra – located in the lower abdomen up to the navel. When the Sacral Chakra is operating normally, you are more creative and more balanced emotionally. This chakra is also connected to intimacy.

3. The Solar Plexus Chakra – located between navel and breastbone. This chakra, when opened, is responsible for personal power, confidence, and strength.

The fourth chakra (heart chakra) is the connection between mind and body.

4. The Heart Chakra – This chakra is the biggest energy center and unites the chakras of matter (the lower three) with the chakras of spirit (upper three.) When this chakra is open, it provides energy to all the other energy centers and is essential for love, harmony, and self-acceptance.

The last three chakras are chakras of spirit. They have more intangible functions and benefits, helping us with communication, emotion, and mental capabilities.

5. The Throat Chakra – includes the whole jaw and throat area. This chakra is needed for internal and external communication. When it is working optimally, you are able to better understand your heart, mind, and what it is that you’re feeling or thinking. You will also be able to have more effective communication with others by speaking openly, honestly, and tactfully.

6. The Brow Chakra (a.k.a The Third Eye) – located between the eyebrows. This chakra is considered your “mind’s eye” and is referred to as your intuition. When it is open, you will have a clear vision of your goals and path for the future. You will also sleep better.

7. The Crown Chakra – located at the top of the head. This chakra is responsible for enlightenment, intelligence, and strengthening our spiritual connection with ourselves and others. When it is open, memory is improved, we have more brain power, and we feel clear-headed.

Why should I get my chakras cleansed?
In Ancient Chinese Medicine along with other holistic approaches, it is believed that no illness, injury, or traumatic emotion will be completely cured until your chakras are cleared, balanced, and opened properly. Even if you get medical treatment for something, you should have your chakras cleansed to put your body and spirit in optimal condition. Whether you have issues such as depression and anxiety or just wish to become more mindful of the present moment, you should get your chakras read and cleansed.

How To Heal Your Own Chakra

Remember that chakras are the seven energy centers inside our bodies, located up and down the spine. When chakras are imbalanced, our bodies and moods are affected. In order to be in perfect harmony, our energies must be healed and balanced.

The goal with healing our chakras is to achieve balance and congruence with one’s spirit and body. When we do this, we feel grounded, healthy, and enlightened.

Here are some ways you can heal your own chakras through different frequencies: light, sound, food, the senses, and crystals. We will go into much deeper detail about these in subsequent blog posts.

Healing Chakras through Light

Each chakra has a different color of light associated with it. To heal a particular chakra, add more of that color into your life via clothes, foods, pictures, etc.

  1. The Root Chakra – red light
  2. The Sacral Chakra – orange light
  3. The Solar Plexus Chakra – yellow light
  4. The Heart Chakra – green light
  5. The Throat Chakra – blue light
  6. The Brow Chakra (a.k.a The Third Eye) –indigo light
  7. The Crown Chakra – violet light

Healing Chakras through Sound

Like light, each chakra has a different sound or chant associated with it. Try some quiet meditation: find a quiet place to sit comfortably with your back straight, breathe deeply, and chant the sound for the chakra you need to heal. Do this for at least a few minutes, and try to keep your mind focused on that chakra. They all are pronounced as “__OM.”

  1. The Root Chakra – “LAM”
  2. The Sacral Chakra – “VAM”
  3. The Solar Plexus Chakra – “RAM”
  4. The Heart Chakra – “YAM”
  5. The Throat Chakra – “HAM”
  6. The Brow Chakra (a.k.a The Third Eye) – “OM”
  7. The Crown Chakra – “OM”

Healing Chakras through Foods

A healthy diet is just as important for our minds and spirits as it is for our bodies. Here are some ideas for foods that you can eat on your own to help balance your energies.

  1. The Root Chakra – red foods such as tomatoes strawberries; root vegetables such as carrots and turnips; protein-rich food such as beans and lean meats
  2. The Sacral Chakra – orange foods such as peaches and oranges; nuts and seeds; and spices such as cinnamon
  3. The Solar Plexus Chakra – yellow foods such as bananas and lemons; complex carbs and whole grains such as oats and brown rice
  4. The Heart Chakra – green, raw foods such as spinach, broccoli, and kiwi
  5. The Throat Chakra – blue foods such as blueberries; soothing foods and liquids such as herbal teas and coconut water
  6. The Brow Chakra (a.k.a The Third Eye) – purple foods such as purple grapes and purple kale; cocao
  7. The Crown Chakra – meditation herbs or essential oils such as juniper, lavender, and sage

Healing Chakras through the Senses

Being present-minded and mindful of our senses is very important for chakra cleansing. Each chakra is associated with a different sense. The five senses are associated with our first five energies, and the last two energies are associated with spiritual senses. To balance a chakra, focus on that particular sense.

  1. The Root Chakra – sense of smell; scent
  2. The Sacral Chakra – sense of taste; appetite
  3. The Solar Plexus Chakra – sense of sight; vision
  4. The Heart Chakra – sense of feeling; touch
  5. The Throat Chakra – sense of hearing; listening
  6. The Brow Chakra (a.k.a The Third Eye) – sense of intuition; insight
  7. The Crown Chakra – sense of empathy; unity

Healing Chakras through Crystals

  1. The Root Chakra
  2. The Sacral Chakra
  3. The Solar Plexus Chakra
  4. The Heart Chakra
  5. The Throat Chakra
  6. The Brow Chakra (a.k.a The Third Eye)
  7. The Crown Chakra
